Consider upgrading. textutils is now part of coreutils, which is at stable 5.2.1 or unstable 5.3.0. If you want the tools on Windows, consider using cygwin (see cygwin.com), where coreutils 5.3.0 is actively maintained. tail -s correctly slept in seconds for me with the latest cygwin compilation of tail. - -- Life is short - so eat dessert first!
