As far as I know nobody has ported coreutils to FreeBSD ACLs. I expect that getting it to work properly will require some expertise in FreeBSD (which I don't have). Perhaps you can find someone who has that? The port shouldn't be that difficult. In the meantime you can work around the problem by building coreutils without ACL support.
