I'm afraid you've come to this mailing list in error. This mailing list is concerned with support for GNU coreutils (cp, mv, ln, ...). Not modems in general, and not Broadcom products. You might have more luck asking for help in a forum of Ubuntu users, or a Broadcom product user group. So that we can help people more effectively, could you let me know what led you to this mailing list? If we can improve the quality of help offered on that web page (or whatever), we may be able to help people with similar problems to yourself find more appropriate sources of help.
