I'll hazard a guess, and suppose you (huma) might possibly be talking about Ubuntu's "Update Manager"? In that case, I might suggest you use your IRC client (look in your "Applications" menu for "Internet" -> "X Chat") to ask on the #ubuntu channel. Please be patient, as it is volunteer-run, and the volume of questions there are quite high.
