Hi There,

Just tried Fedora 18, was looking to get the kernel version. When i
invoke uname with --help option, it doesn't print -r which can be used
to print the kernel version.

Here is the output for --help

uname --help

order,
except omit -p and -i if unknown:

-n, --nodename print the network node hostname
-r, --kernel-release print the kernel release

-i, --hardware-platform print the hardware platform or "unknown"

--help display this help and exit
