But that patch was about shred whereas this bug report is about dd.
But on second thought I reverted the dd patch, which was a bit
speculative anyway. After all, if CLOCK_MONOTONIC freezes,
CLOCK_REALTIME is likely to freeze as well.
Sick Pigs, you're welcome to try the patch anyway, and if it works for
you (which I now hope it doesn't ...) we can reinstall it.
