Regarding the report in January of 2.6 cpio behaving as if -L is always present (I've verified that 2.5 works fine)...
The fix was said to be in system.h from "paxutils". What does that mean in terms of what a user has to do to update their environment? I'm running Gentoo, and I encountered this bug as I was running a perl config script for PXES that called on cpio. _______________________________________________ Bug-cpio mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-cpio
