Hello.

I have tried the command from your script to write to a file (i have
no tape recorder).
It works fine. I'm using openSUSE 10.3 cpio version 2.9. What happens
if you try to write it to a file instead of tape? Does it works? You
will then know that the bug is somewhere in tape recorder. Are you
sure that find have found all files? What version of cpio do you have?
Is there any error message output when running the commands?
 Regards Ladislav.
