Hi there, I am using Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.10.7 (client/server) and am disturbed by the noise it makes. IMHO neither $ cvs -Q commit nor $ cvs -Q update -j ... should produce any output like Checking in app/jsp/home.jsp; /usr/local/cvsroot/meome/app/jsp/home.jsp,v <-- home.jsp new revision: 1.88; previous revision: 1.87 done or RCS file /usr/local/cvsroot/bla/bla,v retrieving revision 1.23.2.21 retrieving revision 1.23.2.22 Merging differences between 1.23.2.21 and 1.23.2.22 into bla Or what for did I say "-Q" ? (that is "Cause the command to be really quiet; the command will only generate output for serious problems") Regards, Philipp Berndt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
