I just found out that there's a PATCH from 1999 that
allows CVS to work with HTTP_PROXY. Since there are a
large number of people who could benefit from this
patch being added to cvs, so that it could be
configurable to work through a firewall (heck it
should be able to pick up HTTP_PROXY environment
variable),
What is stopping this patch from being added to the
main code line?
