Ah, I envy you. :-) I refuse to ignore the package dependencies on my
systems though...

Well, I did it for two reasons:
1. the package dependencies (which I guess you don't mind ;-))
2. I have a bunch of SCCS directories I need to convert to RCS and the
csh version of the script is way too slow.
