Error generated by cvs import command: cannot create_adm_p /tmp/cvs-serv17258/Cmd Permission denied
(Cmd is one of my module subdirectories.) No apparent problem with permissions writing to /tmp i.e. I am able to create the directories using mkdir. CVS client info: MSW2K Server CVSROOT contains :ext: CVS_RSH refers to a kerberized rsh (compiled for cygwin) CVS distribution obtained from Cygwin running in Cygwin output of cvs version on client: Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11 (client/server) Server: Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.1p1 (client/server) CVS server info: SGI IRIX6.5 CVS binary distribution obtained from http://freeware.sgi.com/ kshd from Cygnus kerbnet v1.2 This error is generated out of server.c Unable to find archive of this list to see if this bug is already reported - sorry. Function create_adm_p has many indistinguishable errno returns so not possible to refine report without building from source. I will try to fix this bug because I need CVS ASAP. Please help if you can.
