Good morning,
I'm facing a serious problem with CVS.
After the last checkin of a fundamental file of my project, CVS is not
able anymore to work on it. It make impossible for us to continue
with the parallel development.
Issuing any command on this file results in aborting CVS with the
following message:
26>cvs status prepalm.tcl
Assertion failed: ptr >= rcsbuf_buffer && ptr < rcsbuf_buffer +
rcsbuf_buffer_size, file rcs.c, line 1095
cvs [status aborted]: received abort signal
I have the same problem with CVS 1.11.2 and 1.11.1p1 running on SGI,
SUN or Compaq.
RCS version is 5.7
