I generally don't mind keeping as up-to-date as possible with
Automake, but I also tend to avoid upping the version we use with CVS
more frequently than every few months, just to avoid creating extra
work for the other maintainers, unless there is a need for some new
feature or a fix for a serious bug. It's been a good 3.5 months since
our last AM upgrade, so there shouldn't be much problem going to 1.9.5
now if noone objects.
