Hi, We recently developped a crash-recovery checker called FiSC and applied it to CVS. Our checker complains that locally committed files by "cvs commit" are lost if system crashes right after the commit process exits. Further examination shows that CVS doesn't call fsync or sync on commit. We are wondering if this is expected behavior for CVS or not. Any clarification on this is appreciated.
