I don't have the time, nor the patience, to learn all the arcane commands you need to know in order to make things happen. And I shouldn't *have* to learn all that stuff. To me, the whole point of having a computer is that it takes care of all that complexity, and lets me focus on what's important - the document's contents and, to a minor extent, its formatting.
Peter, it is clear that you and I have fundamentally different, and probably irreconcilable, approaches and philosophies on software development.
