my commit looks like this:
$ cvs commit -m "Fix previous commit."

Cannot open file /tmp/#cvs-po.lastdir.2235.
$ cvs ver
Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.20 (client/server)
Server: Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.2 (client/server)
This is for the second time I see this. /tmp is world-writable,
of course, with many gigabytes of free space.
