I believe this problem will be fixed in the feature branch in CVS and
will be available in cvs 1.12.14 (the GNULIB socklen package has been
added).
As a temporary workaround, you might be able to put
typedef size_t socklen_t;
into getaddrinfo.h to see if that helps you get any further with the
build.
