Follow-up Comment #1, patch #4678 (project cvs):
Could you please provide a description of how you manage to
get into the state where fstat() is returning -1 so often?
Are you seeing the -1 return on the client or the server?
if the fstat() returns -1, should buf_flush() be called,
or should we just set buf->flush = NULL I have a similar
concern for the SHUTDOWN_SERVER macro calling wnt_shutdown_server
under windows-NT...
Is START_RSH_WITH_POPEN_RW being defined under AIX?
If so, I am not sure that pclose() should be called when
fstat() returned -1.
