Hi, Ok, you should really check to see if the log file exists BEFORE starting working!!
Say you do: ddrescue recovered.raw recovered.log Then you can say goodbye to that log file! Accidently forgetting to do: ddrescue /dev/hdd recovered.raw recovered.log Really annoying!
