The bigger problem of this alpha source is that, the number of badblocks
cannot be know in advance, so an array is not good to store the output.
Thanks for the code and don't worry about the problems you have
encountered. I plan to implement this feature using ddrescue structures,
with some of ddrescue's options (domain, etc), and without limit on the
number of bad blocks.
