first of all: thanks a lot for the great software, espcially for the 
logfile approach.
My 2 cents are: if you reboot and use a udev enabled system, device 
names may change on reboot and you might not be aware of it. Identical 
command lines after reboot may in this way destroy all what 
you have done so far.
At minimum, please warn in your man page (feel free to improve my 
English):
