I had previously offered a features patch for ddrescue 1.18 on my site
for ddrutility. The new release of ddrescue 1.19 makes that patch
obsolete. Antonio has addressed all the things from that patch and more.
And in a better way with less overhead and more control. In my benchmark
testing this new version is the fastest, with the least head movement,
and the new options offer the closest thing to total control that an
advanced user could ask for. Ddrescue has stepped up to a new level of
awesome!
So at this time I do not have any intention of making a new features
patch. I will likely release a new and improved sgio passthrough patch
after some more testing.
