Hi! Thanks for the message. I'm in the process of doing this, right now. I'm 18 hours into the recovery process and ddrescue is processing "bad sectors" now. Once it's finished, I plan on mounting the recovered drive and copying what I can access to another external hard drive. So far, things are going well with the recovery process, meaning it hasn't stopped yet. lol Peace...
