hi all! i love diff --side-by-side --suppress-common-lines for diffing big files. i do wish i could get context or unified style output, though, ie a few common lines before and after each diff chunk. it'd make a huge difference with getting your bearings for where each chunk is and what it's doing.
have you all ever thought about supporting --context (or --unified) with --side-by-side, and having it print out before and after common lines and maybe the --- [page numbers ---- separators? thanks in advance! -- http://snarfed.org/
