from time to time I see build failures with ed. It fails in the test suite.
It always fails at:
chmod a+x red
make[2]: Leaving directory `/build/buildd-ed_1.8-1-s390-f3kHz8/ed-1.8'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/build/buildd-ed_1.8-1-s390-f3kHz8/ed-1.8'
dh_auto_test -a
make -j1 check
make[1]: Entering directory `/build/buildd-ed_1.8-1-s390-f3kHz8/ed-1.8'
building test scripts for ed-1.8...
testing ed-1.8...
*** Output e1.o of script e1.ed is incorrect ***
*** Output r3.o of script r3.ed is incorrect ***
make[1]: *** [check] Error 127
tests failed.
