I’ll play devil’s advocate here. How about Guile (GNU’s official extension language <https://www.gnu.org/software/guile/>) support? It’s pretty embeddable and easy to provide APIs to. Maybe even allow it to define new commands or macros? Thanks, -- Artyom Bologov https://aartaka.me
