Hi I'm using Linux for the first time, but I'm used to working with the AmigaShell which is very similar to Linux/Unix. At school today we had a fun little incident with 30 machines or so including the server, going down because of a copy operation i did. Here is what i tried: cp -R * /d1 I ment to copy all files and dirs into a directory. However it did this recursively, and made an infinte amount of directories.
