Bonjour, Listing the directory in emacs, I try to keep the maximum place for the file names, and I usually suppress by defaut the group and Owner information (most of the time, I list my own directories). Under HP 10.20, ls has the option to supress owner & group (options -g -o), but not in fileutils 4.0. I would then suggest to add an option "-O", absolutely identical to -G, removing the owner information (also implied by the "-o" option). Copying on -G option, took me about 10 mins I would love to supress also the number of link (ever barely looked at), but I this would go against some standard (POSIX ?)...
