Hello. When I attempt to create my public html directory I keep getting a message that says "permission denied."
I am typing "mkdir public_html" next to the >. My login name is cclark. Please advise why I do not have permission to create a public html file.
Also when I log in it says my home = /. How do I change that?
I need to get an assignment in by Jan. 12 - if you could reply ASAP, I would really appreciate it.
