Hi I was wanting to get my mouse to work in linux. I am on the debian distribution version 2.2.18pre 21. During startup the Kernel detects a ps/2 port, there in no ps/2 port on my machine. I thing the mouse is on the first serial port, which is configured at start up. I think I'll have to do a mknod, but I can not find the mouse major number in major.h.
are there any documents you could point me to, I've been on the web for a week and can not find any config instructions. Any suggestions?
