Follow-up Comment #1:
Argh, how stupid of me. The test script passes or fails depending on the
order in which directory entries are returned bby readdir(). Silly. The
attached patch should resolve the problem without reducing the value of the
test. Thanks for catching that. I didn't see it because I am developing on
a system which only has the ext3 flags "has_journal filetype sparse_super".
