I would prefer if this special exemption was not added. Even old versions of
GNU find do not accept x as valid mode:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ~/FIND/find-4.1.20 /tmp/ -perm x
/home/ametzler/FIND/find-4.1.20: invalid mode `x'
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ~/FIND/find-4.1.20 /tmp/ -perm +x
/home/ametzler/FIND/find-4.1.20: invalid mode `+x'
