Details:
regarding updatedb (see 11aug06 bug-findutils mail), it would be nice:
- to have a way to arbitrarily include/exclude, specifically:
- index only files (-type f), by allowing more terms before the -print[0];
- exclude, e.g., symlinks (-o type l) by allowing more terms inside the ( ...
) -prune expression.
It would also be nice for the --help output to be more informative; most of
the text in Invoking updatedb text seems appropriate. And having examples in
the manual or --help or both would be a final nice thing :).
