This sounds like a symptom of not using a new enough gnulib version; yet my recollection was that I fixed it in gnulib on Sep 24: http://git.sv.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=gnulib.git;a=commitdiff;h=99af658 whereas findutils 4.3.9 claims to use gnulib from Nov 11. Oh - perhaps I see the problem. I'm guessing that James mistakenly used the old stale CVS gnulib repository, which went read-only on Sep 20: http://git.sv.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=gnulib.git;a=tag;h=e53ea8 rather than a fresh git checkout (or even a gnulib-pserver CVS checkout). At any rate, when I provide the official cygwin port of findutils on the cygwin site, you can rest assured that I will deal with whatever errors there might actually be, as well as push patches back upstream. > This e-mail is intended only for the above addressee.
