Follow-up Comment #1, bug #21629 (project findutils):
4.1.20 is rather old; 4.3.9 was just released this month.
Meanwhile, -iname is based on strcasecmp, which is locale-dependent. In the
C locale, ä is not equivalent to a; in other locales, whether they are
equivalent depends on the locale.. Without knowing your locale settings, I
would have to guess that this is merely a setup problem and not a find bug.
