Thanks for spotting this. This turns out to be because findutils-4.4.0, being a stable release, hasn't upgraded to the head revision of gnulib (I'm still at e5573b1bad88bfabcda181b9e0125fb0c52b7d3b which is from Dec 20, 2007). That means that COPYRIGHT_YEAR in the gnulib module version-etc is still 2007. Obviously, that's now wrong for findutils. However, since the gnulib source files are not held under version control within findutils it's not so easy to fix this; the interface of the version_etc function doesn't allow COPYRIGHT_YEAR to be overridden. I guess the simplest solution will just be to upgrade to a newer version of gnulib. Thanks, James.
