ops... in the example below, the DOT-ASTERISK are collapse in only one DOT

so I mean


$ find . -regextype egrep -regex ".ASTERISKnew.ASTERISK" 

$ find . -regextype egrep -regex ".ASTERISK[[:cntrl:]].ASTERISK"
