In case of up2date findutils, the information is stored explicitly in
import-gnulib.config, this approach seems to be introduced in
FINDUTILS_4_3_2-1-53-g70f1a3d and later modified to use the SHA1 hash of
gnulib in FINDUTILS_4_3_10-1-15-g2f0f45f. However, for such an old version
of findutils, you will probably need to deduce the appropriate gnulib version
by commit date or something like that.
