Details:
I'm trying to build HTML documentation from the doc/find.texi file in the
findutils-4.4.2 source package. The command is: makeinfo --html --no-split
find.texi. I get the following output:
find.texi:10: @include `../locate/dblocation.texi': No such file or
directory.
find.texi:554: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
find.texi:2695: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
find.texi:2697: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
find.texi:3174: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
find.texi:3360: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
find.texi:5317: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
find.texi:5325: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
It seems it cannot find the locate/dblocation.texi file. In fact, it doesn't
exist.
I get a similar problem with the git version of findutils:
find.texi:9: @include `version.texi': No such file or directory.
find.texi:9: @include `../locate/dblocation.texi': No such file or directory.
find.texi:65: warning: undefined flag: EDITION.
find.texi:65: warning: undefined flag: VERSION.
find.texi:573: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
find.texi:2842: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
find.texi:2844: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
find.texi:3058: @include `parse-datetime.texi': No such file or directory.
find.texi:3390: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
find.texi:3576: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
find.texi:5584: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
find.texi:5592: warning: undefined flag: LOCATE_DB.
find.texi:5613: @include `fdl.texi': No such file or directory.
In this case, makeinfo cannot find parse-datetime.texi and fdl.texi, too.
parse-datetime.texi doesn't exist in version 4.4.2, but fdl.texi do instead.
