Follow-up Comment #1, bug #39824 (project findutils):
Ok, I see that *tr \n \0 | xargs -0* is exactly equivalent to *xargs -d\n*.
Still, filenames containing blanks are easily created using gui save dialogs
whereas newlines cannot be inserted that way.
So I will submit a patch to the documentation which will recommend always
using *-d\n* when *-0* is not possible,
and will add *-d\n* to all of the invocations which do not
use *-0*.
