If you want us to help you, you need to give us enough information
that we can say something useful.  From what you've said, I have no
idea what the problem is.

Since you need a fix immediately, have you tried downloading the
latest version of GDB from ftp.gnu.org and using that? 

Failing that, what version of GDB are you running?  What does it say when you
start it up?  What commands do you give?  What does it say before it
crashes?

Second, we need to have complete instructions we can follow ourselves
to make the bug happen on our machine.  In my experience, if I can
make something happen before my eyes, I can almost certainly fix it.
If I can't make it happen myself, then I have almost no hope of fixing
it.
