I tried to build gdb-4.18, the latest official release, on SCO UnixWare 7, and
it does not work. (I used gcc-2.95.2, with and without -O/-O3 and with and
without -g, with no difference (except that -g -03 triggers a gcc error, which
I have reported there).)

More precisely, the program being debugged does not stop at breakpoints. See
typescript below.

Does this require a major port or is there just a little fix or semi- or
unofficial version I would need? (In the latter case I would appreciate a
pointer.)
