I seem to be having a problem with streams in gdb. I am getting an error (only in the debugger) like the following ostream::operator << (this=0x8049a98, s=0xbffffc30 "5") at ../../../libio/iostream.cc:768 ../../../libio/iostream.cc:768: No such file of directory In fact this file and dir do not exist but I'm not sure why it is needed or why it is looking in that particular location. In this case that turns out to be /libio off of my home directory. I am using gdb version 4.17.0.11 on Linux/x86 Linux = Caldera 2.3 which is kernal 2.2.10 Any help would be appreciated.
