I'm sure this is an old old problem, but I'm new at this and can't find the answer in any FAQ, so I'm posting here. Please be gentle! ;-)
I'm running gdbserver on a redhat server. From a redhat client, I invoke gdb and do the following: (gdb) target remote linuxtarget:1234 linuxtarget:1234: Success. (gdb) Quit (gdb) It says "success", but this is bogus. It never touches the gdbserver. In fact, "linuxtarget" doesn't even exist! Please tell me you've seen this before.
