Hello, Im trying to push for the use of upstream gettext instead the GLib one in GNOME. But we have problems when porting, you can see an explanation in [1]
For gdk-pixbuf, for example, was decided to use a kind of ugly patch in autogen.sh to make the .pot files old enough so .po doesnt get updated see [2] I wonder if a better solution exist?
