Here is the documentation on poediff: http://pology.nedohodnik.net/doc/user/en_US/ch-diffpatch.html Section 4.1 describes/proposes the "embedded diff" (ediff) format, regardless of the actual command that would produce it. Section 4.2 is then about poediff in particular. The ediff format is designed not only for maximum efficiency in reviewing changes, but also to be fully usable as patch if needed. Section 4.3 describes the poepatch command which does this. When I want to review changes, I use poepatch in the "embedding" mode (section 4.3.2), so that I have the full context and editing capability. -- Chusslove Illich (Часлав Илић)
