Follow-up Comment #9, bug #26261 (group gforth):

Which version of gdb are you using?  The problem may have to do with that, or
with a security framework (as discussed earlier); in the latter case I have no
idea how to fix the problem.

If you don't care about seeing the disassembly, one workaround is to type

' dump is discode

With this workaround SEE will just show a hex dump for primitives, however.

Another option is to use a recent Gforth snapshot, which includes a
disassembler for AMD64, so that disasm-gdb (which hangs) is not used by
default.
