I also really wonder why this release is coming so soon in gpl ??? They
haven't receive any news about changes in release policy of Artifex and
artofcode !
yeah, I talked to them and they are experimenting with going GPL
without the 1-year-delay.
Btw it's a good and important news !! And a lot of work for us !!! ;)
So it's the begin of a week of integration work :)
anything done yet? ;)
btw, do you have a list of patches that make -gnu differ from -gpl?
What is the clear advantage?
Oh you might want to consider adding all the patches in the gentoo
afpl ebuild, too before making a release:
http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/app-text/ghostscript-afpl/ghostscript-afpl-8.54-r1.ebuild
thanks,
Stefan
