I have committed the code for new tag format.
Would you please test the performance of it?
You can make tag files using new format like follows:
$ gtags -ccc <= three 'c' option
You can change the format by changing the number of 'c' option.
It is, of course, undocumented.
Standard format
$ gtags
Compact format
$ gtags -c
Pathindex format (undocumented)
$ gtags -cc
New format (undocumented)
$ gtags -ccc
I would like to adopt this new format for GLOBAL-5.0 if there is
no problem.
